Omnipro Services, LLC
Ohio Turnpike Construction
Prior to joining Omnipro Services, the associates of Omnipro Services were part of the Ohio Turnpike Third Lane Widening Program Construction Management Team and provided full spectrum construction services. While this experience was obtained by our associates as employees of other organization(s), they have brought their acquired personal skill sets obtained on these projects to Omnipro Services. This program included a multitude of major/complex construction projects over the first 12 years of the program. These projects include roadway widening, bridge replacements, new interchanges, utilities, drainage, and new construction. Some examples of these projects include:
Ohio Turnpike’s 3rd Lane Program- Prior to joining Omnipro Services, our associates were part of the Program Management Team that provided full service program management that included construction support & site construction services for the Ohio Turnpike Commission’s $700 million Third Lane Widening program. The program included the construction of a third lane for 160-miles of the Turnpike, from Toledo to Youngstown. Construction began in 1996 and entails the widening of 100 mainline bridges and reconstruction of 50 overhead bridges. In total, there were 50 separate projects covering the length of the Program. Responsibilities of the Program Management team included alternate concepts analysis, constructability reviews, project scheduling, estimating, cost monitoring, document control, contract packaging, construction inspection, claims avoidance, safety monitoring, and serving as the OTC’s liaison between the design consultants, construction contractors, other government agencies, and the public.

New Interchange at Ohio Turnpike/I-77 - Prior to joining Omnipro Services, our associates were part of the Program Management Team that provided construction support services & site services to the Ohio Turnpike for this project and served as a liaison between the Ohio Turnpike and ODOT District 4. This $30 million project included the new construction of a highway interchange linking I-77 with I-80 in Richfield Ohio. The scope of work included lane miles of new concrete pavement for the ramps, access roads, toll facility areas and connectors as well as large engineered fills, drainage, bridge/roadway widening and new bridge construction.
Cuyahoga Valley Viaduct- Prior to joining Omnipro Services, our associates were part of the Program Management Team that provided construction support & site services to the Turnpike Commission for this $52 million bridge replacement project. The project consisted of the demolition of the existing two lane deck truss structures and the new construction of three lane concrete beam structures. The new structures were comprised of two different concrete beams types. The first type was a modified Florida Bulb T-Beam, which ranged in lengths up to 144 feet and was used for 13 of the newly constructed spans. The remaining five spans of the structure required greater span lengths. To achieve this, segmental continuous pre-stressed & post tensioned concrete girders were constructed. These continuous sections required splices and non-linear post tensioning that flowed with the moment characteristics of the spans. Traffic was maintained by constructing one new structure prior to the demolition of one of the old structures. This phasing was then used for the second set of structures.
