Omnipro Services, LLC
Aviation Construction
Some of our associates have a lifelong lineage in the aviation industry. Our founders literally grew up at Martin Field Airport in Canton Ohio. Although it is no longer in operation, this small unicom airport with three field airstrips played a significant role in the history of aviation. Businessman, Aviator, and family of Omnipro Services, Roy Poorman, operated Poorman Aircraft from the 1930s to the 1970s. This manufacturing facility produced aviation components for customers worldwide in addition to aviation inspection services. Many of today’s airports and aircraft incorporate inventions and ideas generated by this cornerstone of aviation.
The associates of Omnipro Services have continued the legacy of advancing aviation by providing comprehensive construction services for our airport clients. While some of this experience (as noted) was obtained by our associates as employees of other organization(s), they have brought their acquired personal skill sets obtained on these projects to Omnipro Services. To date we have performed various services on many airport construction projects. These projects include rehabilitation of existing facilities, new facility construction, Air Fire Rescue Facilities, Terminal Enhancements, Baggage Handling, and a variety of other vertical construction projects. Some examples include:
Columbus Regional Airport Authority - On-Call Construction Management Services-
Prior to joining Omnipro Services, our associates served on a Construction Management Team that provided construction support & site services to the Columbus Regional Airport Authority. The Authority operates three area airports including Columbus International (CMH), Rickenbacker, and Bolton Field Airports. Services provided by this team included conceptual planning, conceptual design, scheduling, estimating, inspection, material testing, constructability reviews as well as negotiation of service orders for small projects.
Akron Canton Airport- The associates of Omnipro Services provided construction site services for projects at CAK airport which include a new parking lot and the new Army National Guard Armory located on the northern end of the airfield. Both of these projects were completed prior to the CAK 2018 vision.
Cleveland Hopkins Airport- The associates of Omnipro Services provided construction site services for projects at CLE airport in Cleveland, Ohio. These projects included the construction of the new parking deck structure for the main terminal along with associated structural work.
-
Erie Airport - Prior to joining Omnipro Services our associates provided construction support & site services on phase one of the international trade Center at Erie Airport in Erie Pennsylvania. Phase one included the demolition of the 200,000 square foot Fenestra Manufacturing Facility. This required prime contracts for Demolition, Electrical, and Environmental project components. New construction in future phases will incorporate a 45,000 square foot air cargo facility, a 75,000 square foot manufacturing plant, and taxiways/pavement areas associated with the project.
